Sweet Boy

Meet Sweet Boy (name may change), he was trapped by a woman who is trying to take on her first feral colony and he was her first trap. She took him to a vet that offers free neuters paid for by the town. She brought him to my office the next day because she wasn’t happy with the free vet and she thought his ear was bleeding from where it was notched for re-release. When I pulled him out of the carrier he was white as a ghost and hemorrhaging from the neuter. The poor guy had been slowly bleeding out overnight and only weighing 3 1/2 lbs (even though he’s around a year old) he didn’t have much more in him. Even being half dead, this poor little man mustered up enough to start purring when I scratched under his chin.
